Course Content
Theories of psychology, history of psychology, areas of psychology (social psychology, clinical psychology, educational psychology etc.), psychological theories (behavioral theories, cognitive theories, existentialist theories etc.), biological bases of psychology, intelligence and theories, sensation and perception, memory, personality and theories, abnormal behaviors, motivation, excitement, defense mechanisms.
Objectives of the Course
This course aims to provide a general and comprehensive introduction to the discipline of psychology. At the end of the course, students are aimed at understanding the main concepts and theories of psychology, as well as the scientific examination of mental and behavioral processes and the development of comprehension skills to connect with historical events.
