| 6 | Substitution ciphers: Atbash, Polybius, pigpen, vowel and consonant cipher. |
| 7 | Prime number cipher, Monoalphabetic simple substitution cipher, Polyalphabetic simple substitution cipher. |
| 8 | Shifting ciphers: Caesar cipher, generalized Caesar cipher, Trithemius cipher. |
