Course Content
Basic concepts and definitions; types of addiction (substance addiction, technology addiction, etc.); causes of addiction; risk factors in the family, peer group and social context that prepare the person for the substance addiction process; addiction prevention efforts; consequences of addiction; national policy and strategy methods in combating addiction; reintegration process.
Objectives of the Course
This course will be carried out in order for students to learn the concept of addiction, its types, causes, the conceptual framework of addiction and the negative consequences of addiction.
