Course Content
In this lesson, students are taught the basic concepts of health promotion. Health and disease, health risks, general and personal hygiene, healthy nutrition, physical activity and health promotion, mental health promotion and stress management, smoking, alcohol and substance abuse, environmental health, all factors for the creation of a healthy and safe environment are examined. Students are taught useful information to protect and improve the health of themselves and individuals in the community
Objectives of the Course
To gain the knowledge and skills necessary for the development of individual, family and community health by learning the basic concepts of health and health protection and development. To educate students who know the concept of individual, family, community health protection and development and the factors affecting it, behaviour-specific health protection and development models and solution strategies.
