Course Content
In this course; the concept of stress, the physiology of stress, its causes, cognitive aspect, response to stress, psychological resilience, the concept of coping with stress, its strategies (emotion and problem-oriented coping), effective (self-knowledge, awareness of cognitions, versatile thinking in solving problems, problem solving , effective communication skills, relaxation and breathing exercises, good use of time, etc.) and ineffective coping strategies are examined.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is; To enable the student to understand the definition of stress, the organism source meaning of stress, to be informed about the stress coping strategies, to comprehend, evaluate and interpret effective and ineffective coping methods, to substitute effective ones for ineffective service coping behaviors and to help those who use these abilities to use.
