Course Content
Within the scope of Human Rights lesson, the definition, historical development and types of human rights concept will be emphasized first. The Turkish Constitution's approach to human rights, the regulation of fundamental rights and freedoms in the 1982 Constitution, the restriction regime, and the protection of human rights in national law. Later, information on the legal documents and mechanisms for the protection of human rights in the international arena will be given, especially on the structure of the European Court of Human Rights and on the procedural rules. Issues related to the European Convention on Human Rights will be examined in light of the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights
