Course Content
The first stage of this two-stage course aims to introduce Architecture Faculty students to the fundamental grammar of animation production. Cinematographic devices are introduced through photographic and animation analyses, and their potential uses are explored. These analyses are reinforced practically through photographic and animation assignments. The second stage of the course begins with the analysis of a location chosen by the student, with the aim of transforming it into an animation idea with a proposition. In this course, where the technical foundation from basic shooting and editing courses is presented by blending theoretical courses with animation analyses, the end-of-term projects will be individually produced 'Architectural Animations'.
Objectives of the Course
Architectural animation expects architectural students to explore and interpret an architectural phenomenon in video format.
