Course Content
Learning about the structure and properties of building materials, from their production to their use. Determining the necessary qualities based on environmental factors and user requirements, and making informed decisions in material selection. Gaining the ability to use building materials in the correct locations. Developing the skills to obtain, evaluate, record, and apply information related to building materials. Having knowledge of relevant standards in material selection.
Objectives of the Course
In building design and construction, it involves knowing the properties of building materials based on environmental factors and user requirements; making informed decisions in material selection; and possessing the ability to use and apply materials in the correct locations.
