Course Content
In order to be easily understandable, the course is explained by making a presentation of theoretical information supported by visual materials and presenting it in the course. Examples of housing typologies in different rural settlements are presented in the lectures as power point presentations. In addition, field studies and technical trips are carried out to support theoretical knowledge.
Objectives of the Course
The aims of this course are, to express and identify the settlement and rural settlement terms, to learn spatial typologies and vernacular patterns. And also learn traditional culture with artistic studies. the other aim is to have ability and knowladge about plan schemes of traditional turkish house, street views and equipments of house.
