Course Content
To introduce the architectural works created by the Turks in Anatolia from the Seljuk period through to the Ottoman Empire; to examine the layout features, construction techniques and decorative aspects of these works; and to outline their evolutionary trajectory, highlighting their common characteristics.
Objectives of the Course
It is aimed that the students will have knowledge about Anatolian Turkish architecture and be able to read and interpret the main lines of Turkish-Islamic architecture from the 10th century to the 20th century.
