Course Content
This course is an introduction to international business transactions and regulations related to these transactions. In this context, the aim of the course is to examine the issues of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the organization related to the investments (such as GATT, GATS, TRIPS, TRIMs) and the disputes resolved under the organization regime. It also deals with issues such as the merger of international commercial law and institutions (UNCITRAL, UNIDROT), international sales law, international transportation, payment, taxation and trade trumps.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to have a general knowledge about the basic concepts of International Trade Law. The theoretical information is tried to be concretized by application examples and court decisions.
