Thermodynamic Calculations, Power, Characteristic Curves, Physical Characteristics of Combustion in Gasoline and Diesel Engines, Properties Required in Fuel, Mixture in Gasoline Engines, Classification of Engines, Two and Four Timed Engines, Cycles, Yield, Fuels, Combustion and Emissions

To give general information about internal combustion engines and to introduce motor elements and to give some information for the design of motor elements.

1 Classification of power machines, position of internal combustion engines in power machines, classification of internal combustion engines and basic structural and functional differences, basic elements of internal combustion engines, subsystems and functions of motor in operation, basic structural and functional definitions
3 Engine cycles, comparison of these cycles and cycle calculations,
5 The concept of ignition and flame speed in spark ignition engines,
7 Filling in motors, effect of filling efficiency on performance, energy loss types and stages, yield definitions, power and efficiency problems
9 Constitutive and operating parameters affecting knock, knock, early ignition, early ignition and knock out results and prevention methods, combustion chamber types and performance characteristics in spark plug engines
12 Definition of combustion reactions and combustion efficiency in engines, effect of fuel air mixture on engine performance
