Course Content
Mechanical vibrations and basic concepts, modeling mechanical systems, single degree of freedom systems, two degrees of freedom systems, multi-degrees of freedom systems, harmonic analysis, eigenvalue problem, energy method, Lagrange equations, reduction of tapered torsional systems and obtaining the critical frequencies
Objectives of the Course
To obtain mathematical modeling capability of mechanical systems, analysis of mechanical vibrations problems and obtaining the approaches to solve these problems.
