Course Content
Introduction to plastic deformation / Metallurgical principles and mechanical behaviors of metalsal materials / Stress-unit deformation relations / Grains and grain boundaries, Deformation of single and multi-crystalline metals / Basic principles of plastic forming, Deformation mechanisms / Recrystallization, Cold-semi-hot and hot forming Requirements and properties / Strength Increasing Processes, Factors Affecting Plastic Forming, Annealing Furnaces Used in Plastic Forming, Forging, Rolling, Extrusion, Deep Drawing / Wire Drawing, Pipe Production, Methods of Forming Metallic Hair.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach the forming processes and the properties that occur after the forming process in various methods and temperatures in order to make the metals into semi or final product and / or to increase the strength properties of metal.
