Rolling-Contact Bearings, Lubrication and Journal Bearings, Gears general, Spur and Helical Gears, Clutches, Brakes, Couplings, and Flywheels, Flexible Mechanical Elements.
Objectives of the Course
In addition to the motion and power transmission role, which have an important place in machine design, the basic properties of the machine parts (rolling contact, that is, rolling bearings, plain bearings, gear wheels, clutches/brakes and belt-pulley mechanisms) that will act as bedding are determined and the strength of these components before the projecting phase is determined. To gain the ability to make sizing and safety calculations.
