Course Content
The course includes the historical development of the Turkish energy market, in particular the administrative structure of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority, the legal nature of the regulatory and supervisory agencies, the ways in which it operates and against decisions, Turkish energy legislation, energy contracts, energy production, transmission, distribution and retail sales processes. The application of the rules of competition law to the energy market, the solution of international energy markets and international disputes and the taxation of energy.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to give information about the energy market and the rules governing this market.
