Course Content
Solidification in Metals / Fluidity and casting Ability / Model and Design / Runner System and Feeder Account / Mold and Core Materials and Preparation / Molding Methods and Equipments / casting Errors.
Objectives of the Course
Describe metals and alloys, solidification events and striking. To provide the necessary knowledge for perfect production. To gain experience in material and method selection for the part to be produced. In addition, model, mold and core materials and mold and core manufacturing technology developments are explained; The effects of these developments on production speed and quality will be discussed.
