Basic Concepts of Thermodynamics, Properties of Pure Madden, First Law of Thermodynamics: Closed Systems-Control Volumes, Second Law of Thermodynamics, Entropy
Objectives of the Course
In this course, it is aimed to teach and apply the basic principles and laws of thermodynamics, to transfer basic information about energy and its transformations, to gain an engineering perspective so that it is a basis for energy lessons for mechanical engineering students. In addition, it is aimed to introduce students to the basic principles of thermodynamics, to provide the students with the ability to apply the basic laws of thermodynamics to various engineering systems and to teach the fundamentals of thermal design of engineering systems.
