The course covers the fundamentals of international logistics, particularly on managing international trade operations. It will explore the principles of international logistics and key aspects of global trade through the lens of logistics management strategies. The goal is to give students a thorough understanding of international logistics management, including the practices and documentation related to global trade. This includes introducing various sub-concepts within the framework of international logistics and global marketing, as well as processes involved in foreign trade management. Students will learn how international logistics impacts the global economy and international relations. The course starts with an overview of international supply chain management and its infrastructure, then progresses to the core practices of international trade. Additionally, the course addresses issues related to international transportation, security, and the competitive advantages provided by international logistics from a theoretical perspective.

This course aims to teach the theory of international transportation with its applications in several areas including inventory, pricing, and transportation. Furthermore, another objective of this course is to introduce students to international terminology and to facilitate the practical application and definition of these terms within a company.
