Course Content
This lesson includes fundamental concepts about occupational health and safety and concepts of historical development; duty powers and responsibilities of workplace physician and job security professional at work; concepts of risk, danger, primary, secondary, tertiary protection; physical, chemical, biological and psychosocial risks; includes occupational health and safety legislation in workplaces and practices in the workplace.
Objectives of the Course
This course aims to enable students to identify the causes of work accidents and occupational illnesses, the knowledge and skills to protect them from workplace accidents and occupational diseases, and to learn about worker health and job safety legislation and to be evaluated with workplace practices.
