Introduction to Occupational Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety Committees in Companies, Organizational Structure and Responsibilities, Hazard Identification, Risk Management and Assessment, Emergency Plans, Occupational Safety Analyses in Industrial Work Environments, Accident Prevention Policies, Protective Equipment, Warning Signs, Protective Measures.
Objectives of the Course
To inform industrial engineering students about occupational safety issues, to introduce safety problems and solution suggestions encountered during activities carried out in businesses in the field of engineering, and to inform them about safety-related legislation.
