Course Content
The project course will primarily involve lecturing, monitoring current practices, discussing case studies, and guest executives from the business world participating in the course. The success of these methods depends on the contributions of both the instructor and the students. Additionally, students will be given the opportunity to prepare and discuss a project during the semester.
Objectives of the Course
The project course aims to provide students with basic information about the project planning and management process. In this context, the main techniques used in project management within the scope of the course are project planning in terms of quality, time and budget, project organization, communication in project management, determination of the required human resources and establishment of the project team, resource allocation in project execution, project task distribution, resources (finance, labor force). Issues such as project evaluation, finalization and control in terms of project management (e.g., hardware, etc.) and computer applications in project management will be emphasized. Thus, it is aimed for students to gain the ability to master the project management process from beginning to end.
