| 2 | 1A) Listening & Speaking: How do you study? Understanding key information in a presentation and taking notes. Grammar: Present Simple. (Pages: 9-10-11) ASSIGNMENT: Students will be assigned a 3-minute presentation related to the field of Industrial Engineering. |
| 3 | Listening to and evaluating student presentations. 1B) Reading: Identifying text types and topics. Reading the text titled "Learning new skills", answering the questions, and taking notes. (Pages 12-13) ASSIGNMENT: TASK 4 on page 14 will be assigned as homework. |
| 4 | Listening to and evaluating student presentations. Checking assignments. 2A) Listening & Speaking: Evaluating academic websites and understanding their designs. Video: Watching a student presentation and taking notes. How should presentation language be? Signposting / Ordering words (Firstly, secondly…). (Pages 23-24-25). |
