Course Content
This course covers the legal and practical classification of insurance branches, the distinction between life and non-life insurance, compulsory motor third-party liability insurance, motor own damage insurance, fire and natural disaster insurance, accident and theft insurance, land vehicle insurance, marine cargo insurance and engineering insurance. It also examines the scope, coverage structure, general conditions, policy issuance processes, sales and collection practices, claims and indemnity procedures of major non-life insurance branches through branch-specific case studies and practical examples.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the legal and practical classification of insurance branches, the basic distinction between life and non-life insurance, the scope, coverage structure, general conditions, policy issuance, sales, collection, claims and indemnity processes of major non-life insurance branches, and to evaluate current branch-specific practices through case studies.
