Course Content
Basic anatomical terminology, anatomical position, planes and axes; bone structure and divisions of the skeletal system; classification of joints and their movement characteristics; muscle structure, classification, and functions; functional anatomy of the upper limbs, lower limbs, and trunk; posture and spinal anatomy; anatomical analysis of fundamental sporting movements; anatomical characteristics of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems in relation to exercise; and the anatomical basis of common sports injuries.
Objectives of the Course
The course aims to examine human anatomy, particularly the components of the musculoskeletal system, in the context of sports and exercise; to explain the relationship between the structural characteristics of bones, joints, and muscles and their functions during movement; and to enable students to apply anatomical knowledge to the evaluation of sports performance, athlete health, and injury prevention.
