Course Content
Types and styles of parenting, parent education programs (e.g., Triple-P, Incredible Years), parent-child interaction, family communication patterns, social support systems, methods used in parental counseling, parental support in cultural context.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students with analysis and planning skills in this field by examining the theoretical and practical aspects of support programs developed for the difficulties that parents face during the child development process.
