Course Content
In this course; concepts, importance, historical development, theories, communication in healthy family and family conflicts, reasons requiring family counseling, methods for solving family problems, skills for effective counseling, assessment methods and tools in family counseling, common parent attitudes and discipline, effects on child development, case discussions in family counselingare included.
Objectives of the Course
To gain qualifications about the concepts, importance, historical development, theories, communication in healthy family and family conflicts, reasons requiring family counseling, methods for solving family problems, skills for effective counseling, assessment methods and tools in family counseling, common parent attitudes and discipline, effects on child development, case discussions in family counseling.
