Course Content
The social, economic, psychological and educational problems of the families with disabilities, the reactions of the families with disabled individuals, the reactions of the disabled siblings, the attitudes of disabled family members, the support services for families with disabled individuals, the services and features offered to families with disabled individuals, family trainings and characteristics given to families, planning consultancy services for families, planning educational programs for families.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course; to acquire basic information about the problems of families with disabilities and models that explain family reactions, and to acquire competencies related to the methods and techniques required to solve the problems of families.
