Theconcept of disabledanditsplace in thesociety, theproblemsandimpossibilities of disabledpeople, thehealth of thepersonwithphysicalandmentaldisabilities, thenutritionaldisordersobserved in thepersonswithphysicalandmentaldisabilities, thehealthynutritionprinciples, thecounselingservices, theimportance of counselingforhealthynutrition, theeatingability, evaluation.
Objectives of the Course
Theaim of thiscourse is; toprovidethestudentswiththeknowledgeandskillsaboutcounselingforthespecialneedsindividuals of healthynutritionwhich is a greatprevention in daily life diseases. Also; toprovidecurrentinformation on thehealthandnutrition of thedisabledandnutritionaldisordersseen in individualswithphysicalandmentaldisabilities, toevaluatethenutritionalstatus, todeterminerequirements, andtosuggestsolutionstotheproblemsrelatedtonutrition.
