Course Content
basic concepts related to building costs, factors affecting building costs, building cost estimation model, cost data and data banks in Turkey, computer-aided cost estimation (BDMT) models and classification, BDMT models used in the preliminary design stage, BDMT models used in the detailed design stage, BDMT models used in the tender-bid stage, BDMT models used in the phase of progress and preparation (control) phase.
Objectives of the Course
To be aware of the factors affecting the cost of building during the design phase and to understand the importance of cost estimation, To be aware of the possibilities and ease of use of BDMT models, To understand computer aided cost estimation (BDMT) models used in different stages of building design process
