Course Content
The course starts with the fundamentals of project management and then focuses on financial tools such as engineering economics, time value of money, cash flows and project valuation methods. Students learn to conduct economic evaluation of projects and analyze the profitability of projects using incentives and measures of financial efficiency. The contribution of university and business partnerships to projects is also an important component of the course.
Objectives of the Course
This course aims to provide students with both theoretical and practical knowledge by providing an in-depth understanding of the concept, processes and techniques of project management. Students will gain the ability to manage large-scale projects by learning project management practices in the context of engineering economics, financial analysis and university-business collaboration.
