Course Content
The development process of urban transformation in Turkey, urban renewal applications of the Ottoman in the last period, the causes of urban transformation projects, urban transformation in slum areas , urban renewal in areas where urban poverty is concentrated , zoning regulations based on urban renewal issues, financing problems.
Objectives of the Course
Investigating the historical process of urban transformation projects in Turkey, questioning the reasons of needs for urban regenerations, examining the objectives of urban renewal applications and the problems encountered in urban renewal is aimed to identify.
