Course Content
In the course , by interpreting Urban design principles and theories in the formation and development process and urban design criteria for the 'successful urban space', urbanism approaches with different viewpoint will be discussed and the concept of urbanity, vitality and viable urban space will be examined.Objectives such as ensuring cultural and spatial continuity by way of 'Finding lost space again,""redefine and give meanings", "interface"and "articulation"will be addressed in this context.
Objectives of the Course
It is aimed architects and planners formation of the students to develop individual or group thought on design problems of the urban change in current practices - with the phenomenon of urban transformation.
