Course Content
Identification of urbanization and housing policy. Related theories and concepts, legal and administrative framework, Housing Problems and needs, provision of land, housing standards, presentation of housing systems. Housing market: supply and demand, the housing sector and housing policy in Turkey. Examination of housing policies in developed and developing countries, and evaluation.
Objectives of the Course
Based on the students' undergraduate level qualifications, deepen the information of the housing problem and housing policy under the architecture program, the ability to conduct studies independently in housing policy with input from different disciplines , taking responsibility and gaining competence , preparing a study on housing policies, presentation and discussion competency is intended to gain.
