Course Content
The topics, areas and concepts of religious sociology will be examined in detail. At the end of this process topics like religion-society, religion and social change, religion and social integration, religion-cult and society relation, subjective and objective religion which are addressing issues of religious sociology can be analyzed and interpreted.
Objectives of the Course
This course aims to inform students about religion, society, societal function of religion, interaction between religion and society, piety, religious attitude, religious behavior, and relationship between religion and other social institutions.
