Course Content
The theoretical foundations of social work intervention, the stages of the intervention process, intervention methods at the individual, family, group and community levels, techniques used in social work (interviewing, counselling, group work, community development), ethical issues in intervention, case analyses and role-play exercises.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to learn social work interventions at the individual, family, group and community levels within a theoretical and practical framework, to develop their skills in addressing social problems, and to understand professional decision-making processes in line with social work values, principles and ethical standards.
