Course Content
At the beginning of the course, the qualities of theatrical works, the types of theatrical works, the approaches to examining and analyzing the plays are discussed. In the following process; analyzed with examples of plays representing various theatrical movements. It includes a detailed examination of the examples from the plays of the ancient Greek and Roman dramatists (Sophocles, Euripides, Aeschylus, Seneca).
Objectives of the Course
In this course; together with the theatrical evaluation of the economic and social dimensions of societies according to their historical development; qualities of theatrical works; types of theatrical works; It is aimed to examine the approaches to examining and analyzing theater works, with examples of plays representing various theater movements.
