Course Content
In this course, together with the students, the issues that stand out both in international and national social work and occupy the agenda that are not emphasized enough in other courses (for example, the effectiveness of globalization and neoliberal policies, the shrinking of the social state, the siege of the knowledge body of social work by post-modernist theories, green social work, Turkey' In addition, drifting in social work education, reviewing some practices of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, etc.) will be discussed.
Objectives of the Course
To inform senior students about the developments in the social work profession, education and social work field with its national and international dimensions before graduation and to prepare them for the post-graduation business life with a high level of awareness.
