Course Content
In this course, students are taught basic concepts about health promotion. In the courses where topics such as health and disease, health risks, general and personal hygiene, healthy nutrition, physical activity and health promotion, mental health promotion and stress management, smoking, alcohol and substance addiction, environmental health are covered, all factors for creating a healthy and safe environment are examined. Students are taught useful information to protect and develop their own health and the health of individuals in society.
Objectives of the Course
To provide the individual who learns the basic concepts on health and health protection and development with the necessary knowledge and skills to develop family and community health. To train students who know the concept of individual, family and community health protection and development and the factors that affect it, behavior-specific health protection and development models and solution strategies.
