Course Content
Importance of Child Nutrition in the World and in Turkey, Nutrition in Pregnancy and lactation, Characteristics and Requirements of 0-1 Age Group Children, the importance of breast milk, infant formulas and their properties, Complementary nutrition will be covered.
Objectives of the Course
This course aims to teach the basic concepts related to nutrition, to determine the importance of nutrition during pregnancy and lactation, to determine physiological and metabolic changes during infancy, pre-school, school and adolescence and nutrition related interactions.
