Course Content
Basic philosophical problems and basic philosophical debates developing within the framework of these problems are explained in relation to the history of philosophy. Basic debates in the fields of knowledge, science, individual, society, politics, morality and art are explained in an informative and critical way, as required by the subject, based on the thoughts of philosophers such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, Locke, Hobbes and Kant.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to lead students to understand and educate among the basic and unifying principles of philosophy, science, history and education. This course also aims to improve students? knowledge and understanding of the history and philosophy of science and its role in our social and educational processes.
