Course Content
Media theories that examine the relationships between children and digital media products (cartoons, advertisements, computer games, websites, etc.); media and violence; media and bullying; media and children's rights; the impact of media on child development; media and childhood obesity; the role of family and school in accessing and using digital media.
Objectives of the Course
The purposes of this course are to understand media's role in child s cognitive, language, social and emotional development, know the relationship between media and childhood obesity, be aware of media violence, children's rights, the relationship among child, family and media, the relationship among child, school and media and enhance media literacy.

P1 All children and adolescents aged 0-18 have the necessary level of up-to-date, theoretical and practical knowledge about the areas of mental, linguistic, motor, emotional, social and emotional development. 1
