Course Content
Definition and basic principles of giftedness; characteristics of gifted students; social relationships and teaching situations of gifted students with other students, advantages and disadvantages of labeling; supporting gifted students in mathematics lessons, methods and techniques related to the education of gifted students; practices and evaluation with gifted students.
Objectives of the Course
To gain knowledge and skills about gifted children and their general characteristics. To gain knowledge about the applications made with gifted students in mathematics education. To gain knowledge about working with families.
