Course Content
The aim of this course is to provide competencies related to the early childhood education programs implemented in Turkey and the world, the purpose of the programs, target audience, content, application method, effectiveness of the program and research conducted on the effectiveness of the programs, developmental characteristics of children in the preschool period, educational and developmental goals in the preschool period, basic characteristics of the preschool education program, monthly plans and examples, daily plans and examples.
Objectives of the Course
In this course, prospective teachers will gain information about the history of pre-school education programs implemented in Turkey, the basic features, principles, achievements, indicators, environment features, activities, and forms to be used in the MEB 0-3 age program and the MEB 3-6 age pre-school education program. is intended. In addition, they will be provided with knowledge about education program planning (monthly education plan, daily education flow and activity plan), implementation and evaluation processes, and the ability to choose methods and materials that will facilitate children's learning.
