Course Content
Basic level studies on four skills (writing, speaking, listening and reading), vocabulary, sentence construction and grammar.
Objectives of the Course
To provide students with the ability to introduce and explain themselves by using English language, to understand what is being said, and to write paragraphs at a basic level.

1 Introduction to the course, introducing self.
2 Classroom Language introduction, review of past core topics, vocabulary work, reading text about being happy.
3 Auxiliaries, and questions with be, unscramble exercise, vocabulary about relationships, listening exercise about relationsips, grammar review and exercises about simple past tense
4 making conversation, linking and conversation topics, present simple and present continuous vocabulary about work.
5 adverbs of frequency, stressed syllables, and vocabulary about jobs. Expressing likes and dislikes, intonation, and types of work
6 present continuous, be going to for future, listening and speaking exercise, vocabulary about places.
7 Questions without auxiliaries, stress in compound nouns, vocabuary about places to visit, reading and speaking exercise.
8 MIDTERM EXAMS
