Course Content
Introduction to health law, basic principles of health law; the state's responsibility for health care, non-pecuniary damage; medical application errors and expertise; health related crimes and important decisions; basic concepts of forensic medicine and midwifery, study areas and roles of forensic medicine; legal responsibility for judicial cases; rights and ethics of the healthy / ill person; malpractice and midwifery; child-elder abuse; forensic gynecology; death and post-mortem changes, forensic autopsy, crime scene investigation, forensic report preparation; forensic toxicology; sample judicial case presentations.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is; to gain the ability to cope with judicial situations that may be encountered in health services by learning the concepts related to health law.
