Course Content
Examines the basic principles and functions of public health related to the protection, development, early diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation services of the community, family and individual health. In this context, the historical development of public health, definition, roles, health assessment, family structure and culture, environment, work, school, elderly health, public health in special areas such as child health, health services, health organizations and policies are included.
Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to take into consideration the public health in their applications and to act accordingly, to teach health legislation in Turkey, preventive health care and environmental health practices, public health, senior health, maternal and child health.
