Course Content
Friction, wear and lubrication; lubrication system. Criteria for selection of conveying type. Design of traction rocks; Frictionless conveying; Power transmission. Gear design and types; Design of coupling, clutch and braking. Drive belt design; flat belts, V-belts. Design of rope and chain traction.
Objectives of the Course
Giving the constructive properties and calculation methods of gear, worm, belt-chain and chain mechanisms. Development of construction information and skills in project works. Introduction to the synthesis phase of construction.
