Course Content
Structural materials used in prophylaxis; prestressing techniques: external prestressing, internal (wired) prestressing: pre-tensioning, post-tensioning; patent prestressing techniques; bias losses; Prestressed concrete calculation methods: calculations in operating conditions, final limit condition checks (rectangular and T-section profiles); calculations and calculations according to shear forces; shear-slip accessory account; determination of the cable passage area with absolute minimum of prestress; prestressing force in composite sections; cable provision; control of prestressing application; measurement errors and elimination; continuous (hyperstatic) structures; account of hyperstatic internal forces arising from pre-stressing.
Objectives of the Course
To introduce prestressed concrete mainly used in art structures, industrial buildings and many substructures.

| 3 | Prestressed concrete calculation methods: calculations in operating conditions, final limit status checks. Pre-stressed cross-sectional effects on bars. Assumptions about stress and strain. |
| 4 | Pressure center, sectional efficiency (efficiency), central core and account, pressure core, tensile core, limit core. Absolute minimum of prestressing force. Critical section, critical clearance. |
| 5 | Cable passage core, cable passage area. Determination of cable passage area with absolute minimum of prestress. Critical cross section is residual and biasing force. Prestressing force in composite sections. |
